Congratulations on turning five! Let’s keep doing great things!
As another year passes, we’ve had little time to pause for breath as we continue to work hard looking after clients’ work programs.
Is a 5th birthday relevant in business today…. Ordinarily, I think probably not; but in this case we probably have a few things to shout about…. Looking at our stats, we’ve worked for 36 clients in 42 countries on just shy of 100 projects… That’s impressive given the challenging macro-economic conditions over the last 5 years. On top of this, we are still debt free, with no leverage or borrowing thus ensuring our clients interests are our true driver.
Over the last year we’ve increased our footprint as well and the number of services, particularly in the ERW and renewables sectors. Our team’s transferable skills have enabled us to adapt to ‘‘add value’ through bringing fresh eyes onto difficult projects. This is particularly relevant given the diminishing hands-on experience in the market due to natural retirement, a smaller skilled workforce, and the increasing number of projects now being sanctioned.
As consultancy/manpower arena seeing ongoing consolidation as the energy transition takes hold, clients will undoubtedly see changes in their service provision. This presents opportunities for EDR as we remain committed to being agile, technically astute and hands-on. With no external forces at play, we can carry on acting independently with honesty and integrity.
As the winter approaches, we are now preparing for project no. 108. We continue to be busy, surrounding ourselves with outstanding people, who are committed to supporting client’s projects effectively, efficiently and safely.
